Overview

GGD AC LV distribution cabinets serve 50 Hz / 380 V systems up to 3150 A in power plants, substations and industry, converting, distributing and controlling energy for power, lighting and distribution equipment. Designed on the principles of safety, economy, rationality and reliability, the series offers high breaking capacity, excellent dynamic and thermal stability, flexible schemes, easy assembly, complete series coverage, novel structure and a high protection grade — an upgrade path for legacy LV assemblies.

Standard & designation

GB/T 7251.2-2023 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies — Part 2
Designation: power cabinet · fixed mounting & wiring · AC LV distribution · design serial (1 = 15 kA, 2 = 30 kA, 3 = 50 kA breaking) · main / auxiliary circuit scheme codes

Scheme library & busbars

129 main-circuit schemes in 298 specifications: GGD1 49/123, GGD2 53/107, GGD3 27/68 — current up to 3150 A, matching transformers ≤ 2000 kVA; GGJ1/GGJ2 capacitor-compensation cabinets add 4 schemes / 12 specs
Auxiliary circuits split into utility and power-plant variants; ample room for secondary elements, with the dedicated LMZ3D CT for relay protection
Busbars: single aluminium bar ≤ 1500 A, twin copper bars above; all joints tin-coated; copper substitution available on request

Component engineering

Uses proven mass-produced domestic components; retains serviceable classics (DZ10D, DZ20) and excludes obsolete parts
Purpose-built HD13BX / HS13BX rotary-operated knife switches suit the GGD structure
Dedicated ZMJ modular busbar clamps in flame-retardant PPO alloy with sleeve-type insulators — high insulation, self-extinguishing, brick-style single/double combinations curing the creepage shortfall of older designs
Flexible mounting accepts newer, better components without manufacturing difficulty

Service conditions

Ambient −5 °C … +40 °C, 24 h average ≤ +35 °C; indoor, altitude ≤ 2000 m
RH ≤ 50 % at +40 °C (higher at lower temperature, e.g. 90 % at +20 °C, occasional condensation considered)
Tilt ≤ 5°; no severe vibration, shock or corrosive atmosphere; special needs negotiable
