Overview

Designed for distributed PV projects on AC 400 V LV systems, the cabinet integrates an anti-islanding protection device (fault-decoupling and power-quality monitoring optional), isolating switch, grid-tie breaker, surge arrester, temperature-humidity controller and energy metering. Cabinet frame and dimensions are customised on site as MNS, GCS, GCK or GGD.

Functions

Protection: passive islanding detection, live-line auto closing, over/under-voltage, over/under-frequency and reverse-power protection
Auto grid connection: trips on grid voltage loss and auto-recloses when voltage recovers; smart telecom links to the back-end for remote breaker control and live readouts of parameters and switch positions
Energy metering: optional lead-sealed metering bay against power theft, housing utility metering and load-control devices to record generation accurately

Role in the plant

PV-side abnormality (voltage, frequency, overload) → anti-islanding device trips the grid-tie breaker instantly; recloses automatically once the grid recovers
Grid-side abnormality → rapid detection and tripping to disconnect and prevent islanding
PV-side maintenance with healthy grid → blocks reverse feed from grid to PV, safeguarding maintenance personnel
